Shafer Tribute to air on Surprise 11 through weekend
The memorial service held Friday, May 9 at Surprise Stadium in honor of former Mayor Joan Shafer will be broadcast Friday night and through the weekend, according to the Surprise Communications Department.
Bicentennial Park to close for field renovations
Bicentennial Park Softball Field, 15705 N. Nash Street, will close June 8 – 14, to allow for field renovations and maintenance.
